Preparation Instructions:
We would like to send out a warm thank you to Kristin from Helena Montana for submitting this delicious caramel chocolate sauce recipe. To get started, please place a small saucepan on your stove. Next add in the unwrapped caramel squares, Sunspire semi sweet chocolate chips, pure cane dark brown sugar, Nestle sweetened condensed milk, pure vanilla extract, real butter, and ground table sea salt. Heat these contents over medium heat, stirring constantly until your caramel and chocolate chips have completely melted. Once you have a thick and rich caramel chocolate sauce, remove the saucepan from the stove. We used this sauce as a frosting for chocolate cake, however it can be used for many different things, such as brownie frosting, fondue dip, or even caramel chocolate covered nuts. The sauce will harden after being refrigerated, however it can be reheated.
