You can toss your ingredients together without paying much attention to proportions, and still come out with an amazing sauce. Or you can fine tune the process and get it down to a science, perfectly aligning all of your ingredients to meet every chocolate craving you ever had. You can create your chocolate sauce melting pot style, and throw everything in at once, or you can stage your cooking process one tasty ingredient at a time. The point being there really is no set way to make chocolate sauce. It's such an easy thing to do, and nearly every batch is salvageable in the event you take a wrong turn with too much or too little of any particular ingredient.
